Will I receive an appointment reminder?

You will receive an SMS confirmation text 48hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Please respond with YES if you intend on attending the appointment or get in contact if you need to cancel or reschedule.

If you do not receive a text please contact 0468 794 706, as I may have the incorrect contact details.

 

Is there any parking?

There is 2 hour paid parking along Gertrude St, Brunswick St and Nicholson St. 

Please allow 15mins extra travel time for parking. The parking around the studio during the day is limited due to its close proximity to St Vincent’s Hospital. I would recommend using the PayStay app so you can top up your parking without leaving the studio. 

The studio is in a convenient location if you can take public transport. It is very close to the 96, 86 and 11 tram stops, and a 5 minute walk from Parliament Station.

 

I can't make it to my appointment...

Cancellations/Reschedules

By booking an appointment with Jess Wang Hair, it means you agree to the cancellations policy.

I understand that sometimes life gets in the way and we can't make it to planned appointments. I kindly ask you to give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment as this allows me enough time to fill the appointment time. 

Any cancellations/reschedules made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% fee of total appointment cost.

 

No Shows

No shows are where appointments are made, but client has not turned up to the appointment or made contact.

No shows will incur 100% of total booking fee and depending on the situation, the client may be required to make 50% deposit on all future appointments. 

 

Late Arrivals

When a client shows up late, it directly affects the client booked in after them. 

I allow a 15-minute grace period as any more time than that will impact the standard of service I can provide. 

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment and there is a client booked in after you then your appointment will be cancelled and another appointment will need to be made. 

For clients who continuously show up too late to their appointments will incur a 50% late fee on their appointment that needs to be cancelled.

 

There are times when things don't go as planned and I will be accommodating where possible. All cancellation, no show or late fees will be assessed on a case by case basis.

 

What do I do if I have a concern after my appointment?

I encourage any feedback you may have on your service experience and hair. Should you not be satisfied in anyway, please get in touch within 7 days of your initial appointment to give me the opportunity to correct the issue.

 

Can I use my gift card for the online store?

Unfortunately we currently can not accept gift cards through the online store. If you would like to redeem your card for products you can do so in-store in person, or via email request - jesswanghair@gmail.com
